The Schoolroom is my creative space.  I enjoy people, working with adults and children, creating, learning, teaching etc.  I wanted a place where I could do a little bit of everything and this is what I came up with.

I am...

I was born in Alaska.  I have three brothers and two sisters.  My Dad was in the army at the time so we moved around a bit and when I was in the third grade we settled in Eugene, Oregon.  I graduated from South Eugene High School.  I attended a few classes at a community college.  In 1992 got married, moved to Corvallis, OR and worked full time.

I have had many jobs: Subway sandwich designer, office help at a law firm in Eugene, after hours delivery person for a blood bank (I lived in the building!), volleyball coach club and high school level, Payroll and Benefits Manager for a computer store, Music Director at various parishes, Religious Education director, Administrative Assistant, Examiner etc.

That sounds like a lot to be proud of but what I am most proud of is during all of that I homeschooled my five children through the 8th grade, and then helped them manage through high school academics and extra curricular activities.  They/we survived and they are all successful adults today!

That is a long story short.  Want to know more.... let's go to coffee!

Having said all that, my passion is connection, creating, learning, and teaching.  I do not have a college degree but that has never stopped me.  I have 55+ years of life experience.  I also have no fear.  If I don't know how to do it I can youtube it, ask around, figure it out, or find someone who can.  Life is too short to stress.

I know I am not the right fit for everyone and that's ok.  I appreciate you taking the time to learn about me.  If we are to work together in the future I look forward to getting to know you.

Peace and blessings to you!
